CAMPUS MINISTRIES
CAMPUS MINISTRY UNITED:
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — A three- person team — Catherine Kraus, Lauren Burke and Jeff Keely — is training to plant a new campus ministry at Missouri State University.
The ministry plan has been approved, and fund raising is in progress, said Lynn Stringfellow, director of ministry advancement for Campus Ministry United, sponsored by the Park Plaza Church of Christ in Tulsa, Okla.
The East Grand Church of Christ in Springfield will serve as the spiritual support and the local church home for seeking students, Stringfellow said.
“This congregation is very excited to be reaching out to young people searching for the Good News,” he said. “God’s hand has been visible all through this plant formation.”
