Make the Change!

DEAR NORAH:
Lately I have been committing the same sin over and over. Does God still forgive me?

DEAR WORRIER:
Our God is a forgiving God. But that doesn’t mean we get to repeat the offense over and over again because we know God will forgive us. The Lord yearns for a change in our hearts when we turn ourselves over to him. When we make that decision in our lives it’s telling God that we want to transform into his image and change our sinful ways. He knows we’re not perfect and that’s not what he expects from us. What we need to realize is how important repentance truly is as well as asking him for forgiveness.
